Pelican Fire Imagery 's Bio (Anthony Rossi)
Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father was an artist and an Art Center graduate, so I grew up surrounded by creativity, paint, and the people who made art their lives. At fifteen, I began working in my dad’s shop in the paint-mixing room. I was fascinated by everything around me—the colors, the materials, and especially watching my dad’s fellow artists paint billboards by hand with oil paint. In high school, art classes became my favorite classes. Art was never just something I enjoyed; it was something that felt natural to me. I was always drawn back to it. Today, art is still my hobby, but it is also my future. It is a connection to my father, to my childhood, and to the part of me that has always needed to create. And if there is one smell that instantly feels like home to me, it’s the unmistakable scent of linseed oil.
